Best Wig Tape for Daily Wear

Daily 1522 – Super brand (Daily wear)

Our most popular daily wear tape is the 1522 Super. It is our only medical grade, hypoallergenic tape, and skin safe tape. Which makes it super gentle on the skin causing no skin reaction at all. This tape is great for the day-to-day use, goes on clear, and leaves little to no residue.
Medical, hypoallergenic & skin safe

Hold Time: Daily – great for those who remove their hair system every day or every other day. Super easy to remove. Works great for poly.

Super Red Liner Tape

Our most popular daily or weekly wear tape for poly bases. Goes on clear & is easy to remove making clean-ups less messy. Not recommended for lace bases.
Non-medical, non-hypoallergenic but skin safe.

Hold: Hold time about 4-7 days. Perfect for those looking for a longer wear but not a weekly hold. Easy to clean and re-apply on poly bases every other day or every week.

Weekly

German Brown Tape by Walker
This is the most commonly used tape in the industry. Generally used with a hard bond adhesive for permanent attachments. German Brown Tape is applied directly to the hair system and attaches more firmly to the hard bond adhesive than other types of tape. Generally when a hard bond adhesive fails, it is due to the tape it is attached to. With German Brown, you don’t have to worry about the hard bond disconnecting from the tape. Professional use only Can only be used on poly material. Lace with poly, full poly, and/or poly perimeters. Non-medical, non-hypoallergenic but skin safe.

Hold: Hold time every 1-2 week great for people who need something more than just for day to day wear, but who are not looking for a very long-term hold. Can be reapplied every 2 weeks.

SuperBlue 2-3
Superhair Blue is our most popular tape for lace wig hair systems, however can be used for all bases. It is perfect for those bi-weekly or even monthly maintenance. This is the absolute favorite tape for maximum & reliable hold. Goes on clear and with a dull finish. Non-medical, non-hypoallergenic but skin safe.

Hold: 2-3 Weeks and must be stored at room temperature, below 90°F

Duo Tac This tape was designed for easy cleanup and little residue with the dull finish of a lace front tape. Duo-Tac buyers swear by this tape. A very popular option with our hair extension customers. The liners are red and white but the actual Duo Tac Tape is clear.
Non-medical, non-hypoallergenic but skin safe.

Hold: Maximum wear (2-4+ weeks) tapes are the longest lasting tapes we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.

Monthly

No Shine Tap – 4-5 weeks
No Shine Tape has a very dull finish and is virtually invisible through the unit. It’s made with urethane which makes it very flexible with the skin. It’s also easy to clean and doesn’t break down as much as other tapes during removal. It’s great for use with any unit. The liner is white but the actual tape is clear.
Non-medical, but skin safe & hypoallergenic

Hold: Maximum wear (2-4+ weeks) tapes are the longest lasting tapes we make. Depending on temperature, humidity, and body oils, they can last up to six weeks. usually the most tacky, they require more skill to apply.

Super Tape
SUPERTAPE is virtually odorless and optically clear. This tape is very sticky but will quickly adhere to any base type. It also stretches with any skin movement naturally and completely without binding or bunching. Medical, hypoallergenic & skin safe

Hold: Maximum wear (4-5 weeks). When applying SUPERTAPE to lace, keep in mind the following: the bonding surface should be clean of debris, oil, water, and any surface treatment, i.e. conditioner or emollient. Apply SUPERTAPE once, lifting and reapplying can weaken the bond and shorten hold times. Press firmly into place and do not “test” the bond. Complete cure time should be no more than 10 minutes under normal conditions. Heat will weaken the bonding strength of SUPERTAPE over time; therefore, avoid exposing SUPERTAPE to direct heat.

6 Weeks Hold

Ultra Hold
Ultra Hold Tape is the most tacky, flexible, and long-lasting tape we make. Comparable to Super Tape, Air Flex, and GeoBond, you will get the longest hold you’ve ever had from a tape. Ultra Hold can hold strong for 6+ Weeks. It has a urethane carrier that is extra stretchy, making it comfortable to wear and great for flexible lace base materials. It also features our ‘fingerprint’ textured pattern to reduce shine. The liner is white but the actual tape is clear.

Extendabond
Extenda-Bond has been a favorite in the industry for quite some time. You probably know it by its distinctive holes which allow the scalp to breathe. This is a glue in a tape form.
Medical, hypoallergenic & skin safe

Hold: Maximum wear category (4-6 weeks), It’s one of our longest holding tapes. You can expect at least a 4 week hold from this acrylic adhesive. It also has a very dull finish that is virtually invisible under the unit. It’s flexibility makes it extremely comfortable to wear.
