With the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the Chinese New Year holiday it seems that there is going to be a huge delay this month.

We are expecting almost 6 weeks of delay in our custom orders. But don’t you panic now! Superhairpieces has a large inventory of stock men’s and women’s hair systems to fit just about everyone’s needs.

At this point in time, we suggest that you purchase stock in hair systems until Spring of 2020. We are hoping that all orders will be restored by Spring of 2020 and no further delays will occur until the holidays.

Can the virus be transmitted into US by products?

As you may already know our hair is supplied in China. For those who are worried about the Coronavirus being transmitted onto our hair products and supplies, as far as we know, the virus is only airborne and can only spread by person-to-person contact within 6 feet.

There are no cases of the virus causing illness by touching the same surfaces or objects by someone who has been infected by the virus. The virus cannot survive outside the body for more than 48 hours. This is clearly stated on the Center for Disease Control and Precvention (CDC) website. Therefore, even if the virus survives on products and surfaces by the time imports arrive to the US the virus has already diminished.

But as it is flu and respiratory disease season daily preventive measures are highly encouraged.

• Always wash your hands for at least 20 seconds,
• Use hand sanitizer
• avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands,
• clean and disinfect frequently,
• and if sick stay home and relax.
