However, newbies or beginners at using toupees may initially find the whole ordering, applying, maintenance, and even removal process a tad bit intimidating.

To make things easier for our users, Superhairpieces has new sets of Fast Molds or Quick Templates that can be used by our clients and salon experts for their clients to determine the contour, front hairline balding area shape, size, etc. of men with male pattern baldness.

What is a Fast Mold/ Quick Template?

Fast Molds or Quick Templates are ready-made templates or clear caps that simplify custom ordering. We have three sets of six molds, totalling 18 cap templates, providing a variety of options for our hair club for men. These fast molds come in three different contour levels: deep, medium, and shallow, with multiple markings to help you determine the right fit for the balding area on the top of your head.

All you need to do is simply place the fast mold on your scalp and see which lines coordinate with the bald area you want to conceal. Then, put these alphabets and numbers on the custom order form to create your custom-made template for the best hair system for men.

What Is A Custom Order?

How To Use A Fast Mold For A Custom Order?

Step 1

Pick a contour set that fits you perfectly. It should sit comfortably on your head, without any space between your scalp and the dome of the fast mold.

Superhairpieces has different molds based on the 3 types of contours -
S - Shallow
M- Medium
D- Deep

What is a contour?

A contour is the outline of the shape or curve of your head. Choosing the right contour that perfectly fits your scalp allows you to measure your balding area accurately.

If you get the wrong base contour, wearing a hairpiece could feel uncomfortable and unnatural. After it's installed, wrinkles, air bubbles, folds, or gaps could also appear, which is far from ideal and can ruin the overall hair system experience.

Step 2

Place the cap on your head or the client’s head. The fast mold/quick template has several lines and alpha-numeric markings. Understanding these is crucial for placing your custom hair system order.

Each mold consists of 3 lines in front and back. The lines marked on each template, F1, F2, and F3, refer to front lines 1, 2, and 3. These determine the shape of your front hairline.

The lines B1, B2, and B3 refer to back lines 1, 2, and 3. These determine the length of the unit from front to back—for example, from F1 to B2.

Note: If the lines at the back don’t match, you can always measure the balding area from side to side (temple to temple) and front to back, starting from the front hairline with a measuring tape on top of the plastic template.

P1, P2 is the left parting line, P3 is the center parting line, and P4 and P5 are the right parting line. These indicate the hair parting direction.

You will also notice XL (Left Crown), XC (Center Crown), and XR (Right Crown) for the crown placement. It determines the crown spot from the left, middle, and right.

Step 3

Choose a front hairline shape from F1, F2, or F3.

Step 4

Determine the size from front to back. Choose between B1, B2, and B3 or give your own measurement specifications.

Step 5

Finally, choose the crown placements from XL (Left Crown), XC (Center Crown), and XR (Right Crown) and parting line from P1, P2, P3, P4, and P5.

Step 6

Place these numbers and letters into your custom -hair system order form.

For example, your order sheet sequence of labels could look like the following:

D2/F2/B2/XC/P2

This sequence signifies a deep counter cap #2 [D2]. The front hairline shape is to look like [F2]. The size is to be at line [B2] with a center crown [C] and the second left parting option [P2].

OR

If using measurements, the sequence could look like this:

D2/F2/XC/P2 - make size left to right 8” front to back 10”
